Tour | Week 1
We are now about one week in to our fall tour with Copeland and Barcelona. The tour, so far, has been so fun! Barcelona and Copeland are doing a great job every night and our fans seem to be embracing them, if they had not before this tour. Barcelona is the highlight for me. I had not heard them before this tour. If you are coming to an upcoming show, you are in for a treat. Here is a photo of Barcelona I did last night in Towson, MD just before they went on stage. I’m talking with them about doing some more photo shoots throughout the tour!
On Monday, we spent our day off in NYC. Most of the time, I am not a fan of going there. This time around, I got to meet up with some friends and family, so my time in NYC was better than most. Derek, Jon and I walked the city for a good while. We grabbed lunch at a vegetarian place that got great reviews. I was pretty excited. I shouldn’t have been. I got the veggie burger and I might as well have grabbed a handful of dirt and placed it between two pieces of tasteless bread. That may have been a better idea. Derek and Jon enjoyed their food. After that, the tree of us headed toward one of the coolest sites in NY. The exterior filming location of Ghostbusters I &II. Jon had been here before, but Derek and I had not. It was really cool to see in person. Jon even knocked on the door and asked if we could see the Ghostbusters sign. The firefighters from Hook & Ladder were incredibly nice to us. Thanks again to the guys at Hook & Ladder 8 for showing us around. That night, I met up with my cousin and good friend to hit up one of the best vegan places around, Red Bamboo. The food was ridiculous!! I still can’t believe how good my “chicken” was. It tasted and looked soooooo real, but I didn’t feel like crap after eating it. Good times!
Yesterday, Jon, Hoopes, Chris (Barcelona) and I hopped in a rental car and headed to the other side of Baltimore to pay a visit to PRS guitars. Jack and crew were beyond kind to us as usual. Jack gave us an up close tour of the factory and all that goes into making their guitars. We got to spend some time playing new guitars and messing around with some new amp models they are coming out with. It was a good time. A while back, Jack from PRS was kind enough to send me a PRS! I’m the drummer…But he knows guitar is my first instrument and how much I loved the Starla model. Put a Bigsby on it, I’ll play it!!
Thanks again to Jack, Bev and all the people at PRS for showing us an amazing time and supporting Relient K.

Can’t wait to see you folks in Denver.
The new album mesmerizes me. Your drumming makes such a difference. The drums are so much more artistic [no offense to Dave].
I miss your intense face at the top of the blog, haha.

Hey Ethan!!!
But I did get a setlist! And my friend Joey got one of Hoopes’ picks.

I was at your show last night @ Amos’.
I am the girl that you gave a drumstick to. I gave it to my friend Rachel. I think that’s what you wanted me to do…
AND!!! You guys played my favorite song, Let It All Out. I smiled sooo big when you guys were performing it. And I also smiled really big when John sang it back to me, and you smiled at me when I was playing “air-drums”….
Thanks so much for all that you do. I am a big fan of your music and your personal style.
Keep on rocking out for God!
-Your FANatic, Kristiana

Hey would you mind sharing this with the other members of the band? Thanks. Hey guys, enjoying you’re new CD, but one question: Why aren’t there as much Christian themed lyrics? Or did I miss them?

I really love the photos, as always. It’s so cool that you were able to go and check out Hook and Ladder 8. I recall Jon being excited about visiting it a while back. I would never want to live in NYC, but I think it is kind of a fun place to visit, especially since the times I’ve visited, I wasn’t the one driving or parking. LOL
I’ll be seeing you next Friday. Should be fun.
