The past few days in Nashville have seen some amazing weather for August!  It seems like a nice glimpse into Fall.  My friend, Mark, and I thought it would be good to take advantage of how nice it’s been and throw an impromptu scooter ride today!  About an hour before we met, I notified a few friends who I thought might have the day off and we cruised all around Nashville.  About 3/4 of the way through our ride, my clutch cable snapped!  Luckily, Mark had a spare and we pulled off in to a Wendy’s parking lot and fixed it.  After that, we headed to Bobbie’s Dairy Dip.  If you live here, or are planning on visiting, do yourself a favor and check this place out.  It’s a 50′s style, walk up place, with ice cream, burgers, fries, etc.  I recommend the black bean burger.  From there, we headed to Mark’s to see a new (old) scooter he is fixing up and I ran out of gas on the way.  Man, I felt like such an amateur today.  Still, the 6 of us who rode had a great time and hope to ride again this weekend, hopefully with more people!
