“One Headlight” Acoustic

Last week, we in Relient K, filmed some promo stuff for our cover album coming out Oct. 4th. My previous entry had clips from the new cover record. This is a video of us playing an acoustic version of a song from the record, “One Headlight” by The Wallflowers. Enjoy.

States Photo Shoot!

A few weeks ago, I did a photo shot for my good friends in the band States! I had 3 days off from Warped Tour, came home and we did the shoot one afternoon at my friends studio. I’ve been wanting to share one of these so bad and now I finally can! I noticed that States changed their Twitter profile photo to the one I posted below. Moving Mountains

Since we’ve been out here on Warped Tour, there are a few bands that really have captured our attention. One of those bands, Moving Mountains from New York. We were setting up gear in Las Vegas and all of us immediately turned around toward the stage when they started playing. I was blown away at how good this band was. If you like Thrice, Cave In or Recover, please check out Moving Mountains! They are the band on Warped Tour that finally got me off my butt to start shooting more. It’s been too hot. I’m a wuss.

Ryan Rado | Treatment

This is the last video I filmed of Ryan before he entered treatment and I left for tour. The video is pretty simple. I just grabbed his thoughts before the treatment started. I’m so proud of Ryan and his Wife for all they have been through in the past and through this whole process. Ryan already wrote about his first few treatments on his blog. Warped Tour 2011

I can’t believe Warped Tour ’11 is less that a week away! It’s been 3 years since we’ve played Warped! RK haven’t played many shows this year, so I’m extremely excited to get back out on the road! I can’t wait to see so many friends and great bands like The Aggrolites, Street Dogs, Paramore, Less Than Jake & many others! Ryan Rado On The News!

Ryan Rado was recently contacted by Channel 5 News here in Nashville, TN. They were interested in his story that he has been writing about on his blog. They also saw some of the videos I did for him and today, I met up with Ryan to watch him get interviewed for the news! They also interviewed Christina (Ryan’s Wife) and me! Ryan was so excited that a news station would be excited about his story. The 2 guys who came over, Marcus (Reporter) and Nathan (Cameraman) were more than excited about Ryan’s story once he started talking. New Food Blog!

As most people know, I eat a 100% vegan diet. My Wife, Mindy White and I started talking about having a food blog a while ago, since we get a ton of questions and comments regarding our diets. So, the other night I finally put a blog together so people could get advice, recipes and see what and where we may eat on tour. Brad & Sara’s Wedding

I had the honor, a couple weeks ago, to photograph a wedding for some great friends, Brad & Sara. I have known the both of them for years and they have been nothing but amazing to me and anyone who knows them. The wedding was very small and way out in the middle of the country, here in Tennessee. We had to deal with a crazy thunderstorm that day but to everyone’s surprise, once the wedding was set to start, the rain stopped until everyone was back inside. You couldn’t have timed it any better. So, congrats to my friends, Brad & Sara! Love you guys! Here are a couple of my favorite photos from the day.
