Californiaaaaa!
This week, we started our West Coast run of shows! We played a festival first up in Van Nuys. After the show, I had to high tail it to Oceanside where my good friends Mandy & Jordan got married! I made it just in time for the reception. The next day, we played a festival in Del Mar. That show was good, minus a few frustrating over confident security guards. After that we had memorial day off and my Wife and I got to stay with our good friends in San Clemente, where we used to live. My friend Adam grilled up some goodness, good friends came by and the night ended with one of the best karaoke jams ever.
On Tuesday, We played at the Glasshouse in Pomona! This is my favorite venue in Southern California to play. I have seen so many of my favorite shows there. Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate…etc. The Luck Family was there is full force, The Wilsons and a ton of friends! On my way to the Glasshouse, I stopped by Brixton hats! I have been shooting for them since last fall and finally got to meet David and staff in person! These dudes are legit. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. David gave me a tour of the place, hooked me up with some more hats and I finally got copies of the catalogs with my photos featured! The 2009 Holiday catalog has my photo on the cover! Thanks to David and the Brixton staff for being so awesome and making the best hats in the world!
The best highlight of the trip so far was chalking up the sidewalk with my cute 4 1/2 year old niece! My Wife bought here some 3-D chalk and she went to town in front of my parents house!

Those shiskabobs look terrific. I have no idea how to spell that word correctly.

3-D chalk? Wow! I wish they had that when I was a kid!
I like how Jered isn’t mentioned. He just has a picture of him randomly.

Sounds like a busy, but awesome time.
I hadn’t heard of 3-D chalk. That sound quite cool.
