A few weeks ago, I did a photo shot for my good friends in the band States! I had 3 days off from Warped Tour, came home and we did the shoot one afternoon at my friends studio. I’ve been wanting to share one of these so bad and now I finally can! I noticed that States changed their Twitter profile photo to the one I posted below. On Warped Tour 2008, I had the pleasure of getting to know and photographing The Aggrolites. They were the first band to give me a chance as a photographer and since we were both on Warped Tour this year, why not do it again? If you haven’t heard the Aggrolites before, do yourself a favor and pick up any of their records. Thanks again to Jesse, Roger, Jeff, Alex and Ricky for letting me photograph them this summer!
Warped Tour was so amazing this summer. I met some incredible people that I hope I get to keep in touch with and see sooner than later. I wish I had this idea when the tour started…when there were three shows left I wanted to walk around and take people’s portraits. It was, kind of, a photo yearbook idea. I saw some people having things signed by everyone on the last few days and thought this idea would be more fun for me. Plus, it’s an easy way to remember people! I will never forget this summer and the great people I met. Thank you again to everyone who makes Warped Tour happen everyday. Thanks to all the great bands I had the honor of getting to know and share stages with. Warped Tour went by WAY to fast! The photo below doesn’t include everyone I met, but I think I got pretty close. Next time, I’ll start earlier. The photo collage includes 70 people from bands, production, catering, merch & crew.
