I had the honor, a couple weeks ago, to photograph a wedding for some great friends, Brad & Sara. I have known the both of them for years and they have been nothing but amazing to me and anyone who knows them. The wedding was very small and way out in the middle of the country, here in Tennessee. We had to deal with a crazy thunderstorm that day but to everyone’s surprise, once the wedding was set to start, the rain stopped until everyone was back inside. You couldn’t have timed it any better. So, congrats to my friends, Brad & Sara! Love you guys! Here are a couple of my favorite photos from the day.

Yesterday was the 4th annual Record Store Day. It’s been going on for 4 years now and is a great way to discover new music, support local record stores and also get good deals on records. Here in Nashville, most of the record shops around town have events, with live music, going on to celebrate Record Store Day. Even if you are not a vinyl collector, these events around town are so fun to check out. Yesterday, I went to Grimey’s, Third Man Records and The Groove, here in Nashville. One of the best parts of my day, other than picking up Adele’s ’21′ & RSD 10″, was meeting a musical hero of mine. Chuck D of Public Enemy. If you don’t know who they are, they were (are) a hugely influential Hip Hop band that wrote about issues most bands would not touch. In my opinion, Public Enemy is The Clash of Hip Hop music. Anyway, get out there and support your local record store and start collecting vinyl!
