This past weekend, we were in Seattle playing a show and I visited my friend Matt at Liberty Tattoo. He tattooed my hand while I was there. Here is some footage. My other friend, Brian from Barcelona, hung out and grabbed my camera to get some more footage. Enjoy and yes, it hurt.

The other day, I got my new camera delivered to me! The Sony Nex 5! I wanted a new camera, mostly for video purposes. I would love to get a Canon 5DMK2 or 7D, but those are a bit out of the price range for me. After a few weeks of research, I settled on the Nex 5 and could’t be happier! For those that don’t know, the Sony Nex 5 is a point & shoot camera with interchangeable lenses, similar to the Olympus Pen. I also ordered an adapter so I could use all my Canon lenses on it. This will be a great camera while on the road because of how small it is. The quality doesn’t look “point & shoot” at all! I went out shooting this morning and couldn’t believe the results I was getting! Plus, I can shoot in all manual mode, which I do on my normal SLR. It’s not 5DMK2 or 7D, but it’s a HUGE step up from my little pocket camera I used for videos before. I am happy that all my tour videos from now on are gonna get an upgrade in quality. Here is a short video I put together this morning when I got home. There was no color correction. All the footage is straight from the camera. All I did, on camera, was mess with the white balance.
