Yesterday, my good photo friends Jered Scott, Allister Ann, Michael Bethancourt and I went driving around just to hang out and shoot photos. I don’t think I have ever shot with more than one other person before. It was a great time and a good way to share ideas, try new tricks and have multiple subjects to shoot. It was weird for all of us to be on the other side of the camera, except Allister.  Another thing that was interesting was being near the Cumberland River and seeing the effects of the flood still.  I was on tour when all that went down, so this was the first I had seen something up close.  Any shot below that has mud or standing water in it usually is not there, pretty weird.  Be sure to check out Jered & Allister’s blog for more photos from yesterday.

Well, our tour with Paramore and Fun is finished.  The tour was so much fun and I wish it wasn’t so short.  Although we knew Paramore a bit before going out with them, we got to know everyone in that band even better than I had hoped!  I can’t say enough great things about them.  Everyone on their crew were top notch as well.  I look forward to hanging out with everyone in their camp more and more!  Fun was a band full of great people.  It always takes a few days to finally meet everyone in a band you haven’t met before.  Once getting to know them, I knew I had made some friendships that would be long lasting, at least I hope!  So, thank you again to everyone in Paramore, Fun and all the crew for making the last 3 weeks of my life so enjoyable and unforgettable!  I hope we can all tour together again someday!
