For those who don’t know, I entered a photography contest for Wired Magazine a few weeks ago. After 2 rounds of voting, I just found out that I got 1st place!! Thank you to everyone who voted and put up with my annoying tweets and posts about it. I really do appreciate it. This is the first photo contest I have ever entered and I still can’t believe I won. My friend, Andy, and I went to United Record Pressing here in Nashville and got an amazing tour by my friend Adam. Adam knows his stuff when it comes to vinyl. We got to hear and see every step that goes into making a vinyl record. In case you didn’t know, United presses the majority of vinyl you see in stores and they have been doing so since the late 40′s. This place is, definitely, a hidden gem in Nashville. If you are in to vinyl and in Nashville, pay them a visit. It’s completely worth it! Thanks again to Adam for giving us a great tour! Be sure to check out united’s WEBSITE.
