Ok, I know I overdue it with this iPhone Polarize app, but I can’t help it.  It’s super fun and a great way to document daily life.  Just wait until I start posting way to many photos from the Quad Camera app!  Anyway, here you go.

About 2 or 3 months ago, I got a call from my great friend, Brad at Gotee Records, about shooting some photos for a new band called Abandon Kansas that he had signed.  They were recording an EP with another great friend, Mark Lee Townsend.  I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know these dudes in Abandon Kansas and got some rad shots of them in the studio and around town for use in their EP!  Please check out their myspace page for some tunes from the EP, We’re All Going Somewhere, out on September 8th!  Yeah, those are 4 of my photos on the cover!  Boerhaus Design is responsible for the cover and layout.  I also have some photos in other bands upcoming albums this year…more on that later!

Also, I wanted to show another photo from The Gorge in Washington.  It’s another shot I got of my amazing friends, Pete & Melissa…

The Gorge

Last night we played the Creation festival at The Gorge in George, Wa.  The show was great minus some technical difficulties, but nothing anyone would hear but us.  The crowd was amazing!  Soooo many people filled up in that amphitheater!  Thanks to everyone who came out and gave us a great show!  If you have not been to The Gorge Amphitheater, do yourself a favor and see a show there.  The view off the back of the stage is ridiculous!  We played there last year on Warped Tour as well.  I decided to do a panoramic shot from the backstage area last night, check it out…

Also, We got to hang out with our great friends in Sanctus Real yesterday.  Pete, their guitar player, actually lived with my Wife and I for a good while when we all moved out from California.  His Wife was with the band on this trip.  I had shot their engagement photos some time ago and yesterday they asked if I would take a couple of them for fun.  The best part, was that Pete had just come off stage.  You can see his sweatyness happening here.  haha.  Thanks Prevosts!
