Tomorrow begins our run of shows on the west coast! I’m so excited to get back in to clubs and play. I know a lot of these shows are sold out, some are not though. I will be posting some photos and stuff from my trip to California. It’s been crazy already, seeing friends, family…etc. More to come.
More like, Awesome City, SD. I had a great day and a half in Rapid City! We landed here around 8pm and it was freezing! This stupid guy left anything resembling something warm back home in TN. Last night we checked out the Fireman’s Brewhouse for dinner when we got in. Schneck and I split a burger and nachos. The burger was excellent! The nachos…well, let’s just say I wish I hadn’t eaten my half of a burger first. There was way to much cheese going on. For anyone that knows about my melted cheese issues, you would understand.
This morning was great! As usual, I was awake before anyone in the band. I looked online for the closest local coffeehouse. I found a gem! The place is called Bully Blends. The people were so nice, the breakfast was amazing and the coffee was great. They also had free wifi, so I got to get some much needed work done. John Warne met me there after I heckled him, via Twitter. After John and I left there, we jumped in the car with Hoopes and headed to Mt. Rushmore! I have never been there. The other guys have. John had been there 15 years prior, so we recreated some photos he had from that time. I hope he blogs with the 2 photos! It was a good time, we took some photos, browsed the gift shop and headed back to Rapid City for our show at Harvest. The show was cool! It went by really fast. We only played 25 min. Anyway, thats about it. We’re off to NYC tomorrow! I’m excited to see some friends for a very short time!
Lastly…I don’t know if anyone knows about this, but there have been a string of pirate attacks at Mt Rushmore!!
The show in Tampa was pretty good. It was weird playing at 4pm! We haven’t done that since last summer. Tampa was sooooooo hot! I thought I was either gonna pass out or throw up, either one wouldn’t have been a good time. Anyway, we have some good stuff coming up! The West coast tour for one. I can’t wait to get out to my old stompin’ grounds and see old friends and family. Oh yeah, here was one of the highlights of Tampa, a random visitor…
