Good Night, Bad Night
Yesterday we were about a mile above sea level in the great city of Denver. John Warne was obviously excited because he lives there, but we got to see good friends and had a great show. I don’t know if the show was sold out, but if my view was a good judgement…Sold Out! So, this morning I had the pleasure of joining the Warnes for breakfast at Mc Donald’s. After that, I did a sweet photo shoot with Family Force 5. I plan on doing more shoots with them, good dudes. Just before show time, my good friend and former band mate (of 3 days), Reese Roper came down to hang out. He brought me a copy of the new Brave Saint Saturn record. I’m stoked to listen to it. He watched the show and then became a taxi service for Hoopes, Thiessen and I to attend the Coldplay show…for free…1st row on the side of the stage…got the setlist…no big deal. The show was incredible! The production was amazing and those dudes were pretty much flawless! It was the first time I had seen them and was more than blown away. Thanks Coldplay and thanks to the powers that be for getting us tickets. So, that was my day…here are some photos. First one is a shot I did of Family Force 5 and the others are from the Coldplay show, courtesy of Derek’s iPhone.
I almost forgot…the bad part of the night. If I was able to be in two places at once, I would also have been at the Demon Hunter DVD premier in Seattle. My boys did an acoustic set, Q&A and premiered our new DVD, 45 Days. Miss you guys, wish I was there!
