Last night I played with John Davis at a benefit for crohns disease. It was a packed out show and a ton of people donated to a great cause. Thank you. Thanks also to all my friends for dropping by…Mandy, Jordan, Josh, Brittany, Erik, Sarah…etc. Also, the night was a bit emotional at times since the passing of the great producer Jerry Finn. John had worked with Jerry on the Superdrag record “Head Trip In Every Key” years ago. Jerry had given John a Gibson SG back then so John played it last night, wrote Jerry’s name on it and dedicated our last song to him. It was very moving. I did not know Jerry personally, but after hearing countless stories from John, I felt like I did. Thanks again to all who came out!
I was not a fan of St. Anger. But Metallica’s NEW SONG however…I cannot wait for this record next month. It’s gonna whip.

Things have been crazy since my last post. I believe my last post was before I left the Demon Hunter Tour. So, since then, myself and the rest of Relient K hammered out The 2008 Vans Warped Tour. It was a great time, long, but still a great time. I made friends with so many more people than I expected. People I hope I keep in touch with for years and years. I can’t say enough great things about bands like The Street Dogs, The Aggrolites, Against Me and so on….I will do a Warped Tour wrap up in the next few days with tons of photos to share with you all. Thank you for being patient while this site got revamped.
Lastly, if any of you are in the Nashville area tomorrow night, I will be playing guitar with the great John Davis (Superdrag) at the basement. The show is a benefit for Crones Disease. $7. Brian Richie and The Lonely Hearts are playing as well. It’s gonna be fun.
